1. William Nelson Zink b. June 23, 1865 on the Old Dickerman Homestead 3 miles                 north of Greenfield, Ill., d. September 7, 1915  in Wisetown, Ill.       
    Buried in the Million Cemetery outside of Greenfield, Ill. See Obit. below. He was
    a farmer and teacher in Wisetown and educated at Dixon College.  Enlisted in
    the Spanish American War.  Married on June 29, 1890 in Bristol, Ill. to Helen
    Gorton (b. Jan. 13, 1864 in N. Brooklyn, NY, d. November 24, 1894, Greenfield,
    Illinois.  Buried in Million Cemetery -- Click HERE to see stone of Wm. N &
    Helen Gorton).   Children of William & Helen:  Alta and Pearl Zink.
    William married 2nd Valesta Boustlog.  They adopted one child, George Nelson.



2.  R.D. Zink (my guess is that RD is short for Robinson Dickerman) b. March 25, 1867         Marion, Ohio, d. August 9, 1948 Roswell, N.M.
    Buried in Hagerman, N.M.  Married on June 4, 1904 at the World's Fair
    in St. Louis to Lorena Short b. November 6, 1879 Woody, Ill., d. October
    10, 1914 Roswell, N.M. Buried on the Corn Ranch N. of Roswell on the                             banks of the Macho River.  Click HERE to see history of the Short Family. 
    RD and Lenora traveled by covered wagon in 1910 to New Mexico due to Lenora's
    poor health.  She kept a journal of their travels.  She possibly had tuberculosis since
    it was common at that time and people moved to less humid country to recover.                Children:  Herman Ornan Zink (aka Oscar Howard) and Jewel May Zink.

3. Hannah Jane Zink b. 1869; Died 1963 in Roswell, Chavez Co., New Mexico;  Buried in
   Chavez Co., NM;  Married 22 Oct 1889 in Greene County, Illinois to John Carson, Jr.

3. John Bell Zink b. September 22, 1871 Montgomery Co., Ill., d. Jan. 8, 1842.
   A famer and merchant in Greeville, Ill.  Married on Feb. 23, 1898 in
   Oswego, Ks. to Sadie Milett b. July 1, 1876 in Coffeyville, Ks, d. June 21,
   1956.  Both are buried in the Wisetown Cemetery. Children:   Mary Ruby b. Nov. 17,        1898, d. April, 1981 , Lilly May, (died in 1905 at 3 mo. of age),  Anise Irene b. Oct. 28,      1906, d. Jan. 19, 1985.  Click on their names to see pictures and family.

4.  Anna Elizabeth Zink  Born Jan. 21, 1874, Died March 17, 1963.   Married
    Montero (Monte) Ragland on November 13, 1896 in Greene Co., Ill.  He was born
    Sept. 5, 1872 and died July 14, 1958.  Both are buried in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery
    in Greenville, Illinois.  They moved to Grover, Colo. for a time but could not make
    a go of it there so moved back to Illinois before they died.  Their sons remained in

6.  Eli Austin Zink (my direct line - the little boy seated in the center of the
    picture) b. December 4, 1877 Ohio, d. December 18,  1964 Greeley,                                    Colorado.   Married on October 7, 1907 to  Clara Maude Adcock b. December 25,            1877, d. November 29, 1958 Greeley, Colo. Both are buried in Sunset Mem. Gardens         in Greeley, Colorado.  Click on their names above to go to pictures & family.

7.  Unknown Female (first child)-- From Rev. Herman Carson, DD:    Buried in the Old          Cowman Family Cemetery in Highland County, Ohio.  Later when RC tried to find          the grave, he was unable to find it and Amanda said, "never mind Robbie, the angels        will find it all right on resurrection morn."  Note:  To my knowledge, after their               marriage, RC & Amanda never lived in Ohio unless the child was born while they were      visiting.
